I am still on my parents family plan with AT%26amp;T and we have the unlimited $30 family texting plan included. I was wondering how much will the data cost for an iPhone (I am planning on purchasing one in June, the new one if one comes out, the 3Gs if not). Is the data plan $30 or can I use the unlimited family data plan for $10 or the other data plan which costs $15? How do you transfer contacts from iPhone to Sim Card?
I am planning on selling my iPhone 3G but most of my contacts are on the iPhone and not on the sim card. How do i transfer all of my contacts from my iPhone to my sim card?|||You are able to copy them from the iPhone to the SIM.|||You can use "Synkontace" to transfer contacts.
Upload your contacts to the server, so you can download them with any phone, it can be used for transfer and backup.

What if when you connect your iphone to itunes that you only see the iphone symbol and nothing else?
Also every time i try to change it so that it says my name iphone. It says eject. I just restored it so that i could delete things because switched out my computer. Need help. Won't let me add apps. What can I do to prevent iPhone 4 from cutting off my title when adding to home screen?
I have long web page title and when adding to home screen in iPhone older versions the whole title is visible in the confirmation dialog. When I add to home screen in iPhone 4 the title is cut off after the 12th symbol. Is there a way to stop this cutting so iPhone is showing the full title by default?|||Your text will be cut off not by the number of characters, but the length of the string measured in pixels. Because of the nature of the font that they used, characters are different widths.

What iPhone headphones are durable and high quality?
I am looking for a pair of headphones that is compatible with the iPhone. By this I mean that it has the apparatus that can change the song. However, I've had issues with Apple's headphones, specifically that they break easily. I bought a pair of Sharper Image headphones as well, but they are horrible quality. I have a tracfone, and I am going to buy an iphone 3gs from a relative. It would be unactivated. What is a good iphone 4 accessory for someone who is not technologically inclined?
I never used an iphone. Out of principal i stay away from the things; but i'm purchasing a gift, and need to expertise with the iphone market.
The receiver isn't really familar with technology. So something that will help their use of the iphone.
bluetooth headsets, large battery pack, leather cases are pretty much out of the question.

If your phone is Officially unlocked though ( Which is an expensive iPhone to buy, about 1000$ for the iPhone without any plan) ... then you can use any other SIM card with the iPhone ... so you can use Vodaphone SIM card for example if you were in Europe ... and you would use the iPhone as if it's a local phone ... this would be the most convenient financially wise ..
The Blackberry service is something else though .... Blackberry provides you with Data plan wherever you are .. so you would get internet access without extra fees internationally .. that's the only added value to Blackberry.|||The iPhone will work internationally. How to stop your iPhone from getting stolen?
I usually have verybad luck with phones I've had 4 stolen. Including 1 iPhone!!! I have finally givin in to temptation and bought myself a new iPhone. Can I use an iPhone with my current plan instead of buying an iPhone specific plan?

What is the major difference between iPhone and the Samsung Instinct?
I was going to leave sprint for AT%26amp;T only for the iphone. I have no issues with service, just want a cool phone. I can get the Instinct for $129, the iphone for $199. Both have rate plans that start at $70, so why would I leave Sprint now?
Besides the 2GB mem on Instinct vs. 8GB on iPhone, what can the iPhone do the instinct can't? Zoom in?|||So far, I adore this phone. The look, feel, ease of use is wonderful. I am also amazed at the value of this phone; after rebates, the final price with tax is $148.73. The Everything Plans start at 69.99, which is what I have. Since most of the people I know are on Sprint, the "Sprint to Sprint" covers most of my minutes so I did not need unlimited talk. On all Everything Plans, text, web, navagation, ect are unlimited.
The visual voicemail and threaded text messages are great. I also use Sprint TV when I am at the gym and I love how it works on this phone, much nicer than on my previous one. I do however wish the calendar had a countdown clock, as my old Samsung m610 did, but that a small thing and everything else overshadows this. Amazingly, when I did the "Web Sync" to get the music I have purchased from the Sprint store (I usually load my own, but I occasionally buy when I'm on the go) for my last phone, it not only re-loaded the those songs, but included ALL songs ever bought with my phone number from even 2 phones ago...
Great phone and since iPhone doesn't have a camcorder, even on the newer one to be released next month, the Instinct is by far the better choice for me. I use the camcorder a lot. It took a little while to figure out how to do long form video (I NEVER read the book, who does?) but the quality is great.
The memory IS expandalbe to 8 GB and comes with two battteries. Even on the new iPhone the battery is not replacable and this remains an issue for many users.
I have seen reviews where people complain of not be able to do certain things (ex: someone unable to change background thought it wasn't option, when it fact you can), I find that so far I can do everything that my last phone did, and then some. It's just a matter of taking the time to find a way, or going through the manual. When I find out something new, it's great. I'm sure there's more that I don't know still.

1 "pay per month"=鈧?5.
It is pure economics, and in the end, it actually puts more money in you pocket. The phone its self remains expensive though.
The iPhone will probably never be available on speak easy and O2 will probably remain the only carrier in the Republic of Ireland for sometime.

You've probably never heard of the E70 because Nokia's marketing team is busy finding every last dick in the universe to suck, so I'm going to do their job for them and tell you about this product. And no, I'm not being paid to do this. I'm just tired of the iPhone fanboys shooting huge sticky wads and high-fiving each other (literally) over their stupid cellphones.
When the iPhone was first announced, CEO Steve Jobs spewed enough BS to cover a football field full of babies 3 feet deep in bullshit, which sounds cool because he could have potentially murdered a football field full of babies, but he passed on this opportunity by introducing the phone instead. He claimed that the phone was three devices in one: an iPod, a phone, and an "Internet communications device." Oooh, an Internet communications device?! AWESOME!
It's not three devices in one any more than my laptop is you morons. Using Jobs' loose definition of what constitutes a separate device, technically my laptop can be considered 8 devices in one:
A clock
A calculator
An "Internet communications device"
A phone (I can make voice calls with my modem)
A pornographic media storage device
A video player
A word processor
And an "iPod"
There's no such thing as an iPod. The word "iPod" is a marketing tool for a hard drive with software that plays mp3s. Yeah, doesn't sound so sexy now, does it you chimps? And an "internet communications device" is officially the douchebaggiest way of saying "it has a browser." So actually it's just a phone that plays mp3s and has a browser. SNORE.

is the iphone a good phone? and does it come in colors?|||The iPhone is the best phone on the market. At this time it comes in one specific color with two sizes, an 8 gb and 16 gb version. As for the person that states it breaks easy that is far from the truth. I have a launch day phone and have zero scratches on the durable glass surface. Good - i love the touchscreen although it takes some getting used to. The voicemail functionality is AWESOME...you no longer have to dial a number, put in a password and hit 1 to listen. The SMS messaging is cool too -- it;s keeps a running dialogue rather than a new message for a single contact. The Itunes viewing and photo images are nice
Bad -- i'm used to smartphones/pdas so the lack of programs like excel and word are a little disappointing. Also, although i was an att customer already, none of my contacts can be transferred over. I have to completely type thme in manually -- annoying. I am also afraid of scratching the screen -- because you use the screen so much the plastic / hard case like I have for my ipod don't make sense

And the reason right now why they did not choose the better internet network is because the phone itself would be heavier and it would cost more. And Apple usually comes out with newer versions every nine months.|||Wait till December to buy one, apple is suppose to ship out a better iphone that fixes the problems with the one that's out right now.|||I have one i really love it, it is missing a few key features like flash support but im sure apple will fix that in a software update. All in all it's a great phone and i love my iPhone, i would recommend it to anyone!!

I only pay $30 a month but thats because i am on a family plan that cost $10 normally and added the $20 unlimited data plan.
