Does the iphone internet works exactly like the one on the computer?

I'm planning to buy an iPhone. But before i do that i need to find out if the iphone can view every website just like the one on the computer. Does Safari support all websites including JAVA and flash players. Can i view Youtube and pics and other videos on the Iphone using the interent website? One last thing how long does it take for a page to load?|||Yes and Yes. The internet is the internet. Regardless of sign - on source.|||not true iPhone's major and possibly only draw back would be the lack of support for JAVA and other flash payers. still and amazing phone but you cannot play games or view certain pictures and videos.

|||yes you can view pictures, videos, maybe jailbreaking the iphone and installing java or flashplayer with it would help, plus all you need for a internet is a wireless connection, it will be better off if your in a building for many connections, or if you live in a house, just have a router near you.

|||The iphone browser does not support flash. There is a very good youtube app which allows you to watch youtube videos and yes images are normally displayed.

|||you cant view videos yet, but you can view pics. youtube has a special thing with apple, so there is an icon for an iphone formatted youtube service. i have the ipod touch and i know ppl who have the iphone and i like them both.|||flash is not on the iphone yet, it is the closest u will get to the internet on the computer for a phone, it has its own youtube section where u can view every single video available, the page speed r average since its running EDGE. in a few months a 3g iphone will come out and the speed will b faster|||almost exactly, but it is a little slower, and the video not on utube is slow|||It's pretty good for a phone. I think it's the best. You wont be able to see websites that use the flash player though.
