Iphone????

should i get the iphone or wait for the iphone 2|||Get the Iphone. With software updates, you'll always be able to have the newest stuff on it and who knows when the next generation will be out. Use the IPhone now and get the newest model in 3 or 4 years when it's time for an upgrade. As far as phones go, this one will not go out of date for much longer than traditional phones or ipods.|||If you need a phone now. Get it. It hasn't even been announced yet. So you might have to wait quite some time.





I would suggest getting a used one. Macvortex.com has some nice deals.|||It's true: An iphone has been rumored to have a 3G network card in it, compared to the relatively slow Edge network.


The problem is, the rest of what that new iPhone might have is pretty much a mystery. Some claim it will have a GPS included with it.





The problem is, is whether or not you actually want to wait.


If you have the patience to wait for it to be released, which is currently unconfirmed, then go for it. It could be Summer of 08, or it could be 2 years from now.


My suggestion would be to buy the iphone. If you buy it, buy a case for it, and a screen protector, and put them both on as soon as the iphone leaves the package. Why? Because then you are protecting it, and it will stay pretty much mint. Since the iPhone does not depreciate very much, and one that looks brand new is worth even more, you will get most of your money back when you sell it, if you even want to get the second iPhone.





I myself own an iPhone, but even if they release a second Generation iPhone, I would hold on to mine, because there is not much that would convince me to buy another one, just because the internet service is faster, and it has a GPS.





There are only a few faults with the iPhone in my opinion:


1. There is no video camera feature on it.


2. There is no zoom on it.


3. There is no iChat or such on it


4. They aren't allowing 3rd party apps(This is the biggest deal for me. The 3rd party apps are what make the iphone so interesting)

they have great stuff for it|||well i have a friend with a relative that works for apple and i know for a fact that there wont be a iphone 2. its a rumor. plus the iphone updates itself with the apple updates. also about the G3 internet for the phone when it is ready to be put in the phone you can send your phone in to apple and they will update the internet but for now just get the iphone if u like it cause it is worth it. i love the phone. any other questions u have i can answer them for you. just send me a message
