ok so i know the new iphone 4 has just come out but to be honest it is out of my price range,i was looking to buy a iphone 3gs so i was wondering if you could tell me what an iphone 3gs would go for these days...thanks|||Depends.


If you want a brand new iPhone 3GS, then the prices would be approximately...


8GB - $300


16GB - $375


32GB - $450





Prices are around that range.


I don't recommend getting an iPhone below a 3GS.





Also, if you just want to buy one on Craigslist, then it'll depend on a few key factors.


-Condition


-Accessories


-Gigabytes


-Firmware


-Whether or not it is jailbroken and/or unlocked


Sometimes color and location can be a factor.





Great condition iPhones obviously go for the most.


If it is unlocked, jailbroken, or both, then it will usually go for more.


If it comes with a lot of accessories (cables, cases, protectors, etc.).


If the firmware is updated to it's latest and cannot be jailbroken or unlocked, then it usually becomes cheaper.


And depending on the gigabytes the price will differ of course.





And then there are some people who want a specific color. (You can purchase or have a different housing colored installed.)


Some people will purchase apps like TomTom GPS and the price will go higher since the app is about $50 to install.


Some will be in an isolated location or cannot drive and will drop the price for pick up.|||To buy a iphone 3gs from a well know brand such as o2 or orange still isnt keep last time i checked without a contract and on pay and go it was 拢385! but there is a contracts x|||depending on if its new or used. unlocked or locked.





i normally see iphones 3GS from 150-250 if its in new conditon.





go on craigslist!|||cheap with a 2 year contract. aroun 99.99|||dont bother with an iphone... unless its iphone4. Get a droid incredible.
